Querida Tierna R

(IALHA-5349 S/P)  "Querida", daughter of Chica.

Owned by Thunderbird Livestock, Tara Lampman, Randle, WA.

Photos and the following information were provided by Tara Lampman, with one correction by Sue Kearns:

She is a full blooded Andalusian of Portuguese and Spanish bloodlines.  Her Sire is El Altivo (bay) and her Dam is RD Chica (liver chestnut). Querida Tierna R is a bay, DNA tested positive for the Pearl Gene by UC Davis.

She has produced three foals:

Her first foal, Mateo, by the cremello stallion Saphiro, proved to be a pearl buckskin Andalusian colt.

Querida's second colt was a bay (not tested for the pearl gene) partbred 3/4 Andalusian colt (by Cowlitz).

Querida's third colt is a chestnut Andalusian colt (by Thomas O'Brian Lampman) from whom the owner will be sending in hair samples to UC Davis to have tested for the pearl gene.

She has not decided to what stallion she will breed Querida this year (2008), but is considering breeding her to a near leopard classic champagne walkaloosa, or possibly a pearl Andalusian stallion.
